Level Up Your Life This Easter!

Easter is a beautiful time to celebrate new possibilities. As delightful as colored Easter eggs, overflowing baskets of goodies, special meals, and family gatherings are, Easter can be so much more.

This Easter, you are invited to join us as we get to the root of these fun Easter celebrations. Jesus rising from the dead is the most astonishing, earth-shaking news! Jesus Christ is not just risen (past tense) from the dead. Jesus Christ is rising (present future tense) from the dead, from everything that holds us back. Feel the tremors of resurrection power. See new life emerge from the unlikeliest places Beginning with the Tree of Life’s promise in the Garden to the eternal life released when Jesus hung on a wooden cross, a different Tree of Life. Hope is ours now and in the future! Let God turn the ordinary into the extraordinary this Easter as we enjoy inspiring music, energizing message from God’s word, and a welcoming, joyful worship experience for the entire family. This Easter, visit The Easter Tree with us and be transformed by the power of Jesus rising in our lives!

Easter Music Preview

We begin worship with a special countdown video and a stirring soundtrack that depicts the stone rolling away in front of an empty tomb. Throughout our Grand Celebration, Jayne McDonough will offer special piano accompaniment to help set the spiritual tone during prayers and silent reflections. After the Pastor’s welcome, let’s be open to God’s Spirit during a meditative video arrangement of Because He Lives. Special music will be offered by Barbara Cain singing a duet with Jayne on “Sweet the Morning”.  Following the message, we can say/sing along with the video lyrics to the Easter favorite, Thine is the Glory. Our closing hymn will be Jesus Christ is Risen Today!

An Easter mini-movie will challenge us, He’s Still Risen, just before we receive the benediction. Please invite your friends to join you for our Grand Easter Celebration this Sunday!

“…That you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God” (Eph. 3:18).

Whatever your religious affiliation, or none at all, we all hear Jesus say, “Come to me all who are overburdened, and find rest for your soul!” Everyone is welcomed at Cold Spring Church. Yes, everyone!

Enjoy sitting with others from greater Cape May as we worship together. We simplified our service and made it even easier to participate, with our Worship Guide and lyric videos displayed on a large screen.
