PRE-PLANNING CAN HELP YOU PUT YOUR LOVED ONES FIRST THROUGH PREPARATION
Why is pre-planning important?
While it is common to plan for the future by investing in retirement funds and writing wills, burial planning is often left out of the equation. Making pre-need arrangements provides many benefits to you and your loved ones. Thoughtful preparation can reduce stress and the cost of making arrangements during an already difficult time. Cold Spring Cemetery’s pre-need arrangements offer the peace of mind, ensuring that your family can focus on emotional and spiritual resources as they experience grief and mourning rather than the burden of acquiring a burial lot and arrangement details.
WHO CAN BE BURIED AT COLD SPRING CEMETERY?
Who can be buried in the cemetery?
Everyone is welcomed. Cold Spring Cemetery is an historic site and the resting place for many famous figures including immediate descendants of the Mayflower. But there are hundreds of everyday people, both local to the greater Cape May region and more distant places, who have found their final resting place here. As a non-profit, non-denominational cemetery, we welcome people of all faiths and walks of life. Cold Spring Cemetery began as a ministry of the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church and was founded in 1714 to serve all citizens of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and that commitment to welcome all continues to be an important part of our mission today.
