Raise Expectations to Stop the Sinking Syndrome

Sure, we enjoy that feeling that we can do just about anything. Many times, though, we need to recalibrate our expectations. But not lower our expectations. Oh, no! What would happen if instead we raised our expectations? What if we imagined accomplishing something meaningful that looked a bit out of reach? We probably do this more times than we think, but how would you go about really reaching and not get caught in the sinking syndrome? This week, we will consider the amazing possibilities for our own lives when Jesus met his friends on a boat in the middle of a storm. You may be surprised what you discover.
