SUMMARY:Joint Session Deacons Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Cold Spring Presbyterian Church as a congregation of West Jersey Presbytery and the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is required in our form of government called the Book of Order invites the session and deacons to meet together at least once annually. The purpose of the meeting is to gather for common worship\, sharing\, mission discernment\, and planning. Each year we celebrate what God is blessing\, areas of our ministry to improve and where to invest additional resources\, areas of our ministry to be modified or discontinued\, and looking ahead to the opportunities God is presenting to us.

DESCRIPTION:Our 2020 Deacons include: Anne Ferrari\, Janice Lewis\, Jim McCaughey\, Mary Imperato\, Neil Oberlin (moderator)\, and Rob Riehl. \nOur Caring Team meets monthly with the pastor to review opportunities for connections\, visits\, prayer requests\, and mission projects. The Deacons are the community mission team for our congregation and receive a special offering each week. Projects the Deacons have lead include the Gingerbread House Building Event\, Easter Egg Hunt\, Children Christmas and Easter Gifts\, and our welcome bags. The Deacons also manage our prayer requests that are received each week.
