The ceremony at our beautiful Veterans Memorial beneath the service flags is free to the public and is located along Academy Road at the southern side of Cold Spring Church’s 200+ acre campus\, near the parking area. You may choose to purchase wreaths\, see details below. \nFor more than 300 years\, Cold Spring Church has been at the crossroads of the greater Cape May\, South Jersey community transforming lives and offering hope. Whatever your reason\, you are invited to move from community Tourist (attending and looking in) to that of an Explorer (someone who wants to engage and make strong connections) by joining our Explorer Group. We will gather the first three Sundays of the new year for 40-minute sessions January 14th and 21st in the Heritage Room of the Red Brick Church Worship Center\, and on the 28th\, we will meet in the Price Hall Taylor Room. \nYou may have questions about spirituality\, or want to deepen your faith in Christ. Join our group of 5-6 others each week to increase spiritual energy and learn how to become part of our community of faith. We will consider the foundations of the Christian faith and the unique benefits and responsibilities afforded to members. DESCRIPTION:Our 2020 Deacons include: Anne Ferrari\, Janice Lewis\, Jim McCaughey\, Mary Imperato\, Neil Oberlin (moderator)\, and Rob Riehl. \nOur Caring Team meets monthly with the pastor to review opportunities for connections\, visits\, prayer requests\, and mission projects. The Deacons are the community mission team for our congregation and receive a special offering each week. Projects the Deacons have lead include the Gingerbread House Building Event\, Easter Egg Hunt\, Children Christmas and Easter Gifts\, and our welcome bags. The Deacons also manage our prayer requests that are received each week.
