SUMMARY:Divine Interruption or Interrupting the Divine?
DESCRIPTION:Can God be interrupted? Can you? Multitasking is considered by many to be an essential skill\, but some have found multitasking elusive\, if desirable at all. We want to wisely use our time\, improve our outcomes\, maximize our return on our investments\, and get the most bang for the buck. But at the end of the day\, what we need to answer questions like these: Has our life\, and even better\, have the lives of others\, been transformed? Are we better? Is the world better for our being in it? \nWhile interruptions require us to stop what we are currently doing and can feel like an unwelcome distraction; a disturbance and something to avoid\, Jesus looked at interruptions differently. In Mark 5:21-43\, we see Jesus embrace distractions and two individuals are glad he did. Our pastor\, Dr. Kevin Yoho’s message\, “Divine Interruptions: Do Disturb!”\, will not only encourage you to reach out to God\, but to let others reach out to you\, too! You never know what can come of Divine Interruptions!

DESCRIPTION:Our 2020 Deacons include: Anne Ferrari\, Janice Lewis\, Jim McCaughey\, Mary Imperato\, Neil Oberlin (moderator)\, and Rob Riehl. \nOur Caring Team meets monthly with the pastor to review opportunities for connections\, visits\, prayer requests\, and mission projects. The Deacons are the community mission team for our congregation and receive a special offering each week. Projects the Deacons have lead include the Gingerbread House Building Event\, Easter Egg Hunt\, Children Christmas and Easter Gifts\, and our welcome bags. The Deacons also manage our prayer requests that are received each week.

DESCRIPTION:Cold Spring Presbyterian Church conducts tours of the historic church & surrounding cemetery on many Saturday mornings Spring to Fall. \nThe next tour will begin at 10 a.m. on September 30th. Hear stories of inspiring and interesting individuals whose resting place is contained in our sacred space. Our oldest gravestone is dated 1742. \nTours will begin at the red brick church building located at 780 Seashore Road in Cold Spring. 
Each tour lasts about one hour. There is no fee but a good-will offering is appreciated.
