DESCRIPTION:Wreaths Across America at Cold Spring Church\, Cape May\, NJ \nJoin the Wreaths Across America Tradition at Cold Spring Church Cemetery\nOur annual Wreaths Across America event is a nationwide ceremonial tribute to military veterans on Saturday\, December 18\, 2021\, at noon in the veterans’ section of Cold Spring Church Cemetery. The ceremony is open to the entire community without cost at our beautiful Veterans Memorial along Academy Road near the parking area at the south side of Cold Spring Church’s 200-acre campus. Look for the service flags at the center of the veteran’s section. \nCold Spring Church’s mission is to improve our community’s spiritual vitality and wellness through worship\, activities\, events\, and other ministries. For more than 307 years\, we have continued to energize spirits and transform lives. Find out more. \nRemember\, Honor\, Teach\nYou may purchase a wreath online below or in-person with a purchase form available in the Red Brick Church narthex on Sundays between 10:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.\, or the church office Tuesday through Thursdays\, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wreaths are $15 each. If paying by check\, make checks payable to Cold Spring Church\, memo WAA 2021. \nProceeds benefit our Veterans Cemetery. SUMMARY:Cape Classical Artists Concert Ensemble La Bernardinia
DESCRIPTION:On February 13th\,  presents an afternoon of chamber works by Johann Sebastian Bach\, played on instruments of his time. The program includes music he wrote for the ensemble’s instruments—for example\, the beautiful\, virtuosic Sonata in D Major for viola da gamba and harpsichord— as well as transcriptions of his organ\, harpsichord\, and vocal music\, including several of his two-part keyboard inventions played on recorder and viola da gamba\, and an organ trio sonata played on recorder and harpsichord. \nWe are thrilled to return to the beautiful sanctuary of Cold Spring Presbyterian Church and offer our concerts to a live audience while simultaneously streaming them to our YouTube channel. If you cannot attend in person\, feel free to tune in from the comfort of your home when the concert begins or at any time thereafter. \nDue to the ongoing pandemic\, we will follow protocols that include mask-wearing\, socially distant seating\, and proof of vaccination. \nBoth admissions to the concerts and the YouTube streams will be available at no charge. DESCRIPTION:The season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday\, March 2\, 2022. Cold Spring Church will offer a unique hybrid worship experience in the Red Brick Church from noon to 12:45 PM. Ash Wednesday recognizes our fragility and mortality were it not for the grace of God. In humility\, but with confidence in Christ\, all of us ask that the Lord remember our entire creation once more and breathe new life into our pandemic-worn\, dusty lives.\n\nDuring the service\, you may wish to receive the imposition of ashes. Pastor Kevin Yoho’s message\, The Face of Grace\, will assure us that though we are dust\, we are baptized dust. (Hint\, less frown\, more joy!)\n\nThe community is welcome to attend. Masks are required even for vaccinated individuals. Invite a friend to join you as we begin our Lenten journey toward the cross and Easter’s promise of new life.

Please contact Mary Imperato for more information. \nOur 2022 Deacons include Janice Lewis\, Jim McCaughey\, Mary Imperato (moderator\, treasurer)\, Robin Stiles\, and Barbara Keister (secretary). \nOur Caring Team meets monthly with the pastor to review opportunities for connections\, visits\, prayer requests\, and mission projects. The Deacons are the community mission team for our congregation and receive a special offering each week. Projects the Deacons have led include the Gingerbread House Building Event\, Easter Egg Hunt\, Children’s Christmas and Easter Gifts\, and our welcome bags. The Deacons also manage the prayer requests that are received each week.
